vulnerable population
I think I should learn more about LGBT populations over the course of this semester. This is the population that has lots of social and political negligence. They are struggling against of the society for their existence. Many people are fighting for equality between LGBT population and other. I assume that these people are not treated equally even today. I learn about LGBT population from other people talking about them. The most difficult challenges that I will have after doing this research population is there might lot of argument form the readers view point about my study.

Hi Anu,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your post. Please take a look at the questions that I posed in the original assignment. What assumptions do you have about the LGBT population(s), and how did you acquire these assumptions?
I look forward to your response.
Sincerely,
Professor Wexelbaum
Hi Professor Rachel,
ReplyDeleteI think some gay people are not happy with them selves, so they always try to isolate from their group. They might feel like alien in their own society and did not want to disclose thier identity. They might not be so strong to accept how they are. Such isolation lead them in depression and could force them to do suicide. According to the research, the rate of suicide is high among gay people. By such statistical analysis I acquired that some gay people are not happy with themselves.
Hi Anu,
ReplyDeleteI apologize for taking so long to respond--today I am finally catching up on everyone's blog posts!
Thank you for sharing your assumptions about gay people and suicide. I believe that you will find a lot of information on this topic during the course of the semester. Please let me know if you have any questions during your research process!
Sincerely,
Professor Wexelbaum
